Rose Lavillant, known as Pigella is a major character of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. In season 4, she receives the Pig Miraculous from Ladybug, which, when inhabited by Daizzi, can transform her into Pigella, a pig-themed superhero.
She was voiced by Erin Fitzgerald for Season 1 and later Reba Buhr for Seasons 2 onwards.
Appearance
Physical appearance
Rose is a slightly tanned, fair-skinned, slender teenage girl of medium height. Her hair is a honey blonde pixie cut with bangs that slightly cover her eyes to the right and a tiny cowlick on top. In regards to her face, she has thin eyebrows, round vivid sapphire blue eyes, eyeliner and light orchid lipstick.
Civilian attire
She wears a shirt with light pink sleeves and top front, pink and white stripes on the front, a pink back that has a pale golden wing design, and a string tied around her waist. She also has a pink mini skirt with two white edges at the bottom of the cloth, white leggings, two pink bracelets around her right wrist, and pink dress shoes.
As Princess Fragrance
Princess Fragrance's skin is a pale green and her sclera are light pink. Her hair is pink with lighter pink edges on her bangs. It is long and tied back into a rosebud-like bun, (hence her name) and detailed with black horizontal lines and black leaves around the bottom half. A black tube comes out of the top of the bun and hangs down to the back of her knees, and the end of her hair comes out of the end and is tied with a black band. Like a mask, black paint is around her upper face and over her eyes with a swirl below her left eye. She also has pink lipstick.
Her outfit is a black jumpsuit and covers her arms, legs, and neck. Narrow pink lines go down her puffed sleeves and puffed shorts, and they make a rose design on her chest. Her shoes are high heels, having pink heels and pointed pink tips to her toes. Her blaster is a dark purple tear-shaped bottle with pink horizontal lines, and the end is clear, rounded, light pink glass surrounded by dark gray leaf-like edges where it attaches to the bottle. Through the bottle and out of the end of the glass is a small, dark gray pipe, which is where the perfume shoots out. The handle and the trigger are thin, curled dark gray metal wire, and over one part of the handle near the back, there is a round, dark purple piece with indented lines spiraling around it.
As Pigella
Pigella wears a pink skin tight, pig themed superhero suit. Her hair grows longer and is tied in two pigtails, possibly resembling pig ears. Her bangs are straighter, curved, and swept aside. She has a light pink skirt around her waist. On her legs she has three white stripes. The upper part of her feet are white, and the bottom is pink. She also wears a mask that is white on top, magenta in the middle, and pink on the bottom and a button with a swirly pattern on her chest.
Personality
Rose is a sweet, cheerful, and naive teenage girl. With an optimistic and happy attitude, Rose cares for everyone around her, often showing much gratitude, and she likes helping them. An example of this is when she was offering snacks and drinks to her classmates during their movie project in "Horrificator". As she is naive, her kindness can occasionally lead her to a downfall, such as in the episode "Timebreaker" when the titular villain tricks her. Rose is also very sensitive, easily becoming too frightened to run for class representative after Chloé threatens to kick her out of the scrapbooking club in "Darkblade". In "Befana", Rose is shown to be very brave, however, when standing up for her friends. Her courage is further shown in "Zombizou" in which she risks herself to save Chloé from the titular villain's minions. Rose also encouraged Marinette to try again at giving her gift to Adrien in "Cat Blanc".
As mentioned by Marinette in her webisode, Rose is more open and honest with her feelings to a guy she likes, such as Prince Ali.
As Princess Fragrance, Rose is obsessed with Prince Ali and will stop at nothing to accomplish her goal to make him hers. She expects people to treat her like royalty, and is particularly enraged by people who take Prince Ali away from her or will not follow her. She also likes to sing and makes everyone under her control sing.
As Pigella, she retains her normal personality, remaining the cheerful and happy girl she is, something that helps her when it comes to using her power.
History
Season 1
In "Princess Fragrance", after Chloé tears her letter to Prince Ali, she is corrupted by Hawk Moth into the titular supervillain capable of brainwashing people with her perfume. After being de-akumatized, she confesses to Prince Ali, telling him how she appreciates that he helps sick people around the world. Touched by her honesty and modesty, Prince Ali invites her to go with him to the hospital, choosing her over Chloé, leaving the latter to scream furiously.
Season 2
She made her comeback as Scarlet Princess Fragrance. She was aided by Pharaoh.
Season 3
Princess Fragrance returns along with Lady Wifi and Reflekta who form The Punishers Trio to get revenge on Adrien's cousin Félix.
Season 4
In "Gang of Secrets", after Marinette snaps at Rose, Alya, Juleka, Mylene, and Alix in anger, their heartbroken state allows them to be akumatized again, turning Rose back into Princess Fragrance as part of the newly-dubbed Gang of Secrets to hunt down Marinette. She is later restored to normal when Cat Noir and Ladybug destroy the friendship bracelet in Timebreaker's possession that contained the akuma, purify it, and restore the damage with Miraculous Ladybug.
In "Guiltrip", Ladybug gives the Pig Miraculous to Rose to help defeat her friend Juleka, who has been transformed by Shadow Moth into Reflekta again. She meet Daizzi, the pig kwami, and transforms into Pigella for the first time, using her power to make Juleka happy so that she can be de-akumatized.
Season 5
In "Jubilation", Pigella is among the superheroes attending Ladybug and Cat Noir's wedding in the dream caused by Gift when they are fighting Darker Owl in reality.
In "Determination", to try and help restore morale to Paris because of losing Pigella and the other heroes, Grevin Museum curator Veronique has a wax figurine of Pigella made, alongside those of the rest of the team, in hopes of helping to boost hope. When Mayor Bourgeois, under Chloe's influence again, refuses to let the figures be displayed, Veronique is akumatized by Monarch into Manipula, bringing the wax figures of Pigella and the others to life to try and make Manipula look like a hero by bringing the team back.
In the season finale, "The Final Day", Rose is part of the Resistance as they fight against the Miraculized as part of Monarch's Operation Perfect Alliance. Even when they get the support of the United Heroez, Ladydragon, and the Guardians under Grandmaster Su-Han, it is a losing battle. However, as shown in "Miraculous London", Ladybug saves them when her Miraculous Ladybug undoes everything and restores the Miraculized to normal, then learning of Gabriel Agreste sacrificing himself to end Monarch's threat permanently. After Marinette restores the Miraculous to their original forms, she decides to entrust Daizzi to Rose permanently, allowing Rose to become Pigella again as the French Miraculous superhero team is restored to full strength so they will be ready for whatever new threat comes from the new Hawk Moth in Lila Rossi/Cerise Bianca.
Season 6
In "Daddycop", Rose, along with Mylene, Alya, Juleka, Kagami, and Zoe, are preparing for their weekly girls movie night at Marinette's, but Marinette had planned to celebrate her 100th kiss with Adrien that same night. When they notice Sabrina and how she had been alone since Chloé was exiled from Paris, they decide to invite her, through Zoe, to the movie night. But Marinette assumed they were okay with her inviting Adrien so she could still have her dinner date with him, and when Sabrina is heartbroken after Marinette told her the truth, when they learn of it, fearing for Sabrina's well-being, they rush to help and comfort her, but are confronted by her father, Lt. Roger Raincomprix is akumatized into Daddycop by Chrysalis. Rose is among the first victims of Daddycop to be brainwashed into becoming a zombie who loves Sabrina and attempt to chase her down to comfort her, but later, thanks to a group effort by Ladybug, Cat Noir, Pegasus, and Miss Hound, Rose and the other victims are returned to normal, stunned and confused by what happened. Later, back at Marinette's, Sabrina apologizes for her sins when she was helping Chloé and hopes for a fresh start with the other female members of Team Miraculous. Rose and the other girls reassure her Chloé is nothing but a bad memory for all of them now and Sabrina has a chance to truly be herself now and not be in the shadow of someone like Chloé anymore, giving Sabrina a group hug to show they are there to help her now. Later, Sabrina appears at school sporting a new appearance now that she can just be herself, and Rose and the other members of Team Miraculous offer positive reactions to it.
At the start of "Revelator", Pigella is with the rest of the team as, under Cat Noir and Ladybug's guidance, they attempt to unlock their adult Miraculous powers through sheer willpower. While some fail and need to recharge their Kwamis and transform again before resuming, everyone manages to successfully unlock their adult Miraculous powers and enable their ability to stay transformed indefinitely before manually reverting back by saying their power down catchphrase. To celebrate their accomplishment, Ladybug dubs the team, "The Miraculers", which they all agree on.

- Rose Lavillant is the eighth person to become a Miraculous holder who was also an akumatized villain, following Nino Lahiffe in "The Bubbler", Alya Césaire in "Lady Wifi", Max Kanté in "Gamer", Chloé Bourgeois in "Antibug" and Kagami Tsurugi in "Riposte" but excluding Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth, who akumatized himself in "The Collector" into the titular villain.
- Using the Pig Miraculous makes Rose one of twelve Miraculous users who's kwamis represent the Chinese Zodiac. In her case, the pig/boar.
