Pipsqueak is a small barbaloot with brown fur. He has brown pupils and he has a bald spot on his chest.
Personality
Pipsqueak is shown to be a carefree and playful barbaloot as shown when he stays on the Once-Ler's bed despite them planning on removing him from the forest and grabbing a fruit instead of the Lorax's hand from a tree. Despite his foolishness, he can be serious when he has to as shown when he becomes scared when the bed is about to flow to the rapids and later a waterfall. He can be aggressive as shown when he and other animals prepare to attack the Once-Ler when he throws his items at them. He loves marshmallows which calm him and the animals down when the marshmallows start pouring out from the bag. However, when the forest is completely destroyed and the Once-Ler offers him a marshmallow, he rejects it, devastated that his home is destroyed.
Biography
Pipsqueak and the other animals first greet the Once-Ler by singing when he goes to the forest to cut some trees. The Once-Ler sings along with them but when he throws all his items to the animals, they, including Pipsqueak get angry. The Once-Ler accidentally grabs his marshmallow bag to defend himself and when one barbaloot rips open the bag, the marshmallows all come out. The animals stop getting angry as they are enticed with the raining marshmallows. Pipsqueak is shown smiling with marshmallows as teeth.
With the animals no longer angry, the Once-Ler proceeds to chop down one tree which hurts the animals and summons the Lorax. Pipsqueak and the other animals help the Lorax place rocks around the tree stump. When the Lorax asks the Once-Ler who chopped down the tree, he tries to frame Pipsqueak by placing the axe on him.
At nighttime, the Lorax tries to remove the Once-Ler by placing his bed on the river only to realize that Pipsqueak is on the bed, forcing the Lorax to try and rescue them because Pipsqueak can't swim. The Once-Ler hugs Pipsqueak like a teddy bear when the fish remove his blanket. The Lorax uses a tree by putting the animals, including the obese barbaloot, to bend it down to reach Pipsqueak. Pipsqueak appears to be reaching them but he only grabs the fruit instead, to the Lorax's annoyance. The bed soon flows to the rapids, so Pipsqueak flips the bed over to wake the Once-Ler up. Pipsqueak and the Once-Ler go through the rapids. Once they're out of the rapids, they laugh in relief only to realize that they are about to head to a waterfall. When they unsuccessfully try to divert the bed from the waterfall, the Lorax drops the boulder from the cliff to the bed to catapult them to safety as the bed falls off the waterfall.
The Once-Ler's family eventually comes along. When the Once-Ler sings "How Bad Can I Be", Pipsqueak and the animals join the song only for the Once-Ler's Aunt Grizelda to sweep them away and his family replaces them. During the song, Pipsqueak and the animals are shown getting terrified and hurt as the Once-Ler and his family continue chopping down every tree in the forest. When the final tree is chopped down, Pipsqueak and the rest of the animals, including the Once-Ler's mule, Melvin, decide to leave the destroyed forest for good. The Once-Ler offers Pipsqueak a marshmallow but this time he sadly rejects it and continues leaving with all the animals.
It is unknown what happens to Pipsqueak afterwards but as the Once-Ler is already old at the end of the film, he is most likely old or may have died due to old age if he was able to find a new safe place to live or stayed the same age if he's immortal to return back to the forest.
