Princess Merida is the main heroine in the Disney/Pixar animated film Brave. She is a tomboyishly beautiful 16 year old Scottish princess with a more care-free personality, which puts her at odds with her mother Queen Elinor. This leads to her accidentally putting the kingdom at risk by making a deal with a witch. Merida is voiced by Kelly Macdonald. She will join the official Disney Princess line-up in June, 2013.
