Hops — protagonists

Hops is the recurring character of Nickelodeon animated series The Loud House. He is Lana's best friend and one of her pets.

Biography

Past

According in the episode "Frog Wild", the frog meet Lana while she plays in the pond with him, but when she is about to leave, he becomes depressed. Seeing the frog depressed, Lana decides to take him home as her pet and best friend by naming him Hops. Since that day, Hops and Lana been pretty inseparable and play together.

Present

Hops is a sentient frog and one of Lana's pets who likes to spend time with her. He first appeared in "Toads and Tiaras" where he provides a bass line during the talent portion of the beauty pageant, allowing Lana to win and receive the season passes to Dairyland. Hops helps Lincoln and Lana in "Frog Wild" where they on a mission to rescue the frogs from Royal Woods Elementary School, followed by in "Snow Way Out" as he helps Lana to get her siblings out from Burpin' Burger after they gets snowed in.

He and Lana work together to save the Fishmans from the bulldozer driver in "Scales of Justice", also in "Wheel and Deal" where he helps Lana attempting to win the race at the Royal Woods Go-Kart Grand Prix. In "Training Day", he helps Lana redeem Jazzy to stop him from causing chaos across Royal Woods.

In the sixth season episode "You Auto Know Better", Hops and Lana creates an auto-body shop to raise money for her new bike. In "The Cling and I", he helps Lana win Lily back since she has her favorite sister.

Personality

Hops is a very intelligent frog who enjoys spending time with Lana. He helps Lana with her plan and seems to comprehend complex situations.

Appearance

Hops is a standard looking green frog, with yellowish green spots.
