Albert Reynolds (more commonly known as Pop-Pop) is the recurring character of Nickelodeon's The Loud House franchise. He is the maternal grandfather of the Loud kids, father of Rita and father-in law of Lynn Sr..
Portrayals
- In S1 E15A to S4 E14B, he was voiced by the late Fred Willard, who also voiced Melvin in Chicken Little, Swindle in Transformers: Animated, and the Boogey Man in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
- In S5 E09B, he is voiced by Christopher Swindle.
- From Season 5 onwards, he is currently voiced by Piotr Michael, who also voiced Santa Claus in the same franchise, Woof, Arfolomew and Fritz in the 2019 Where's Waldo?, and Iago in Once Upon a Studio.
Biography
Albert is the old man who lives in Sunset Canyon Retirement Home and loves all his grandchildren, even he can hang out with them. He loves adventures, sport activities and eating spicy food. His first appearance in "Cover Girls" where he makes a video call through the computer to talk with his grandchildren. Albert has a major role in "The Old and the Restless" as he and Lincoln spend time together, like having a fun time. In "Spell It Out", he plays shuffleboard game and wins the game, which his grandchildren (minus Lucy) lifts him up by chanting his name in celebration.
As of the third season, Albert now has his girlfriends, Myrtle, which the two dating each other. He invites Lincoln, Lori, Luna, Lynn, Lola and Lynn Sr. to his nursing home in "Ruthless People" where they stay with him due to their house has termites. In "Racing Hearts", Albert and Myrtle pair together for the Royal Woods Astonishing Quest.
Albert and Lincoln accompany Myrtle on a tour of Sunset Canyon in "Resident Upheaval" where they can let Myrtle moved to Sunset Canyon and become roommates with Gayle. In "High Crimes", he and the other seniors help out with Lincoln and Clyde to defeat Vic. In No Time to Spy: A Loud House Movie, Albert teams up with the Louds to save Myrtle from Fifi and her goons, followed by at the end where he and Myrtle getting married.
Appearance
Albert is a burly man who has white hair and a large tuft of his hair that sticks up, just like Lincoln's hair. He also has gray mustache and thick gray eyebrows. On his right forearm, he has a tattoo of an anchor. He wears a white button-up shirt, blue jeans with a black belt and orange suspenders. In his debut appearance, he only had glasses hang on his neck.
