Blu-Ray is a minor character of the 2009/2010-2017 Cartoon Network animated TV series Regular Show. She is the daughter of Archie the Archivist and the sister of HD DVD who works with the Seer.
She was voiced by Gillian Jacobs.
History
Background
It is unknown about her past but she had born with her brother, before his fall to the dark side, but after their father's death it was unknown after the Internet's first defeat.
Season 8
In "Meet the Seer", When Pops gets injured by his brother Anti-Pops and later The Park Gang moved him to the Planet Nielsen, She and her brother HD-DVD help the park gang fight through in that planet against Streaming (the evolved form of The Internet) and his minions to find the Seer. During the destruction of Planet Nielsen she and HD-DVD fly off to escape their doom.
In "Cheer Up Pops" she attends the party with her brother and helps by creating the Blu-ray Boxset, the recording of every park member's memories.
In the eighth-season finale, she and HD-DVD participate in the battle against Anti-Pops and Streaming, they both, however, never land a strike on Anti-Pops, as they most likely view Streaming as their main threat.
It is unknown when Pops sacrificed himself, she didn't appeared physically, but she was mentioned by Rigby.
Powers and Abilities
Like her father and brother, Blu-Ray can transform into a crystal being and has the same powers as Archie and HD-DVD. Blu-Ray's form is blue and like HD-DVD, her face is displayed, so she can speak normally. Like the Guardians of Obsolete Formats and HD-DVD, she can also understand Archie's garbled language while in his Laserdisc Guardian form, although this is never shown as Blu-Ray never interacts with her father.
As stated before she most likely has a unique ability of creating electronics via an outlet on her crystal form, along with the ability to create the Blu-ray Boxset, it's possible HD-DVD has similar powers, although with a potential HD-DVD Boxset.
Physical appearence
She has solid white hair in a Bun style, she wears a sleek pair of blue sunglasses, that are particularly reflective. Her attire consists of a full-black woman's business suit, notably buttoned up, other than the suit she has a pair of brown boots. At the start of Meet the Seer she is seen wearing a brown robe along with HD-DVD.
When she transforms into her Blu-Ray form, she looks exactly like her father but her form is blue, she's the same height as HD DVD, and her human face is shown. Unlike Archie (And possibly HD-DVD) she has a set of controls on her back, along with the outlet of which she creates electronics located on her neck(?).
Personality and traits
She appears to be proud and boastful because she thinks that her brother's video format is obsolete. Can be a kind, optimistic laid back and friendly to the Disc Masters, including the allies along with said Disc masters, despite her eagerness to create electronics and boast it.
She is also shown to have a small rivalry with her brother, however when push comes to shove they will work together to fight an opposing force, seen in both Meet the Seer and A Regular Epic Final Battle 1/2.

Trivia
- The name of Blu-ray is an obvious reference to the Blu-ray Disc format, similar to the HD-DVD format, that it can also deliver movies/series into the highest resolutions. The only difference is that Blu-ray has a higher storage capacity and are usually used by computer animators due to the storage capacity of the format.
- It is revealed that she has the ability to digitize memories into Blu-ray box-sets as seen in her first appearance, HD-DVD most likely shares a similar ability by his quote in Cheer Up Pops, however it is not showcased.
- She also has the ability to "push out" electronics from within her body, such as a Blu-ray player player from her chest, and a large flat screen TV from somewhere else. The park workers seem to find the process she uses when doing the latter to be disturbing and/or gross.
